ALD Automotive achieves the ‘Eco-dynamic enterprise’ label
ALD Automotive has been awarded the ‘Eco-dynamic enterprise label by the Brussels government. Environment Brussels (Leefmilieu Brussel/Bruxelles Environnement) awards these labels to companies and organisations that take steps to limit the impact of their activities on the environment.
Every year, the Brussels Capital Region awards new labels or extends already existing labels for organisations and enterprises in Brussels that have made efforts in the area of energy use, waste production or mobility. The label is an official recognition of the environmental management achievements of the organisation.
ALD Automotive received the 'Eco-dynamic enterprise’ label for undertaking the following initiatives:
- The ALD ecoteam: a team of seven people that regularly meets to set up environmentally friendly projects.
- A budget for environmentally friendly actions.
- Providing the opportunity for personnel to work from home one day a week.
- Investments in LED lighting and sanitation.
- Double-sided printing.
- Performance of multiple environmental audits.
The label from Environment Brussels is valid until 2019 and can then be extended.
